Dr. Kelsey Gump is a Seminole County native, born here in Casselberry before moving to Clermont where she was raised. Her strong compassion and interest for the well-being and conservation of all animals big and small drove her to seek a career in caring for them. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Central Florida. While working towards her degree, Dr. Gump worked and volunteered with a large variety of animals including horses, companion animals, and injured and orphaned wildlife. She then went on to earn her degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Florida. After graduation, Dr. Gump spent some time practicing in southwest Florida before deciding to come back to her hometown to be closer to family and friends.
In her spare time, Dr. Gump enjoys cooking, exploring new places, attending community events, and socializing with friends. At home, she cares for 3 cats and a ball python.
