Veterinary Technician

Erin

My passion for veterinary medicine began at 19 years old when I started my career as a Kennel Technician at Oviedo Veterinary Care and Emergency. Within six months, I advanced to a Veterinary Assistant, where I spent the next year developing my foundation in animal care and veterinary medicine.

My career then expanded into human healthcare, where I worked as a Certified Nursing asssistant (CNA) for several years before transitioning into dental assisting. I later became a licensed Phlebotomist, gaining extensive experience in blood collection, patient care, and clinical procedures.

Eventually, my passion for animal medicine brought me back to veterinary medicine, where I returned to the field as a Veterinary Technician while pursuing my Veterinary Technician education through Penn Foster. My diverse healthcare background has given me a unique perspective on patient care, combining hands-on medical experience with compassion, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of both human and animal healthcare.

I am passionate about providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to every patient, while continuing to grow my knowledge and skills as a veterinary professional.
